The city you want to run becomes your next trip.

THE DREAM
It is a race held in Koka City, Shiga Prefecture.
The goal is for every participant to finish.
Picture the course in advance
and find the pace that fits you.
Streets lined with cheers, runners all around.
You'll be part of that scene.
Take it slow with the finish still in you,
and meet the city all over again.
From the joy of finishing to the tough moments — read what runners wrote themselves.
“I finished my first marathon!”
The runner finished the first marathon in under 4 hours 30 minutes. The runner also achieved the goal of not walking and wrote that completing the challenging course, with many climbs and descents, gave the runner confidence.

初マラソン完走しました!
Read the original on 気の向くままに・・・ものづくり“I achieved my second sub-4-hour marathon in four years.”
The runner took part as a long-distance training run ahead of the main race in December and aimed to maintain a pace of 6 minutes/km on the hilly course. The runner got over the steep climb at the 18km mark and, without the runner's legs stopping, maintained the pace to achieve a second sub-4-hour marathon in four years.

実に4年振り、2回目のサブ4達成です。
Read the original on 愛車を作ろう!Full Scratch Modelling Cars“They achieved both goals brilliantly: finishing their first full marathon and breaking sub-4.”
The author powered through repeated climbs and descents, plus the risk of late-race cramps, to break 4 hours with a first full marathon in 3 hours 57 minutes 13 seconds.

Your start time, fuel and bag drop.
Know them ahead and the run feels easier.
The November 1 race goes ahead rain or shine.
If rain is forecast, prepare a waterproof jacket and cap so your body temperature does not drop once you are wet,
and rather than dressing too warmly before the start, keep a separate layer for waiting.
The water station locations have changed: stations have been added at Aozuchi, the Yokotani forest road and the Observation Plaza,
and some previous points have been removed, so decide in advance when you will drink.
Full marathon and half marathon have no race-day registration, and bib is sent in advance.
Go directly to the start by 10:30 a.m. For the children's races, exchange the participation consent form for bib from 8 to 10 a.m.;
the 5th-grade division starts at 10:40 and the 6th-grade division after that.
Free marathon buses run to the venue, departing from Kinugawa Station from 7:30 and from Kameyama Station from 7:40.
For accommodation, consider facilities in the Tsuchiyama and Minakuchi areas first.
Times are local to Kōka-shi. Check the latest official information before the race.
