THE DREAM
This marathon starts on the riverside paths of Luzhou, New Taipei, then climbs into the mountain roads of Guanyin Mountain.
Starting at Erchong Floodway, the route crosses Guandu Bridge before continuing uphill toward Bali.
A Taipei-area hill-training favorite that packs riverside flats and mountain climbs into a single course.

Streets lined with cheers, runners all around.
You'll be part of that scene.
Take it slow with the finish still in you,
and meet the city all over again.
From the joy of finishing to the tough moments — read what runners wrote themselves.
“This aid station is also worth a special mention.”
Considering the condition of the runner's knees, the runner took it easy even on flat sections and tackled the steeper slopes as if hiking. The views overlooking the river and city, along with the generous food, eased the fatigue and let the runner rediscover the joy of mountain-course races.

Course starts at the Erchong Floodway venue in Luzhou District, New Taipei City,
passing Weifeng Canal Plaza and Luzhou Weifeng Baseball Stadium before joining the riverside path under Chenglu Bridge.
The route then follows the riverside, crossing the East-West-South-North Rock and Guanyinkeng Creek Bridge,
before crossing Guandu Bridge in front of Xiushan Shrine and climbing toward Bali.
From the section passing Guanyin Pagoda and the Sacred Heart Girls' Junior High School footbridge, the elevation continues to rise.
Course reaches a maximum elevation of 250m with 953m of total elevation gain,
making it a hilly course that climbs and descends the foothills of Guanyin Mountain, just as its name suggests.
Full marathon also includes an out-and-back section that passes Wuji Temple in Bali,
then Longyu Temple and Zide Temple, before turning around at the end of Laoqiankeng Road.
Half marathon turns back in front of Wuji Temple, while the 10km course turns around in front of Xiushan Shrine,
making it a short, mostly flat riverside route that is approachable for beginners.
By contrast, full marathon repeatedly climbs between the temples of Guanyin Mountain, making the perceived difficulty much higher.
Pick up your bib, check your wave.
So on race morning, you can just run.
