The runner took part in the Yeongcheon Dam 10K despite being sleep-deprived and rested in the car before the start. Starting near the back, the runner used a metronome and device alerts and ran all the way to the finish, setting a 10K personal best that year.

The runner participated in their second half marathon with their running club and set a personal best. After the early uphill section, the runner enjoyed the gentle ups and downs and the autumn foliage and dam scenery, but was disappointed that there was not enough guidance about water stations on the return section.

For the runner's first 10km at Yeongcheon Dam, the runner changed the goal to simply finishing after seeing the uphill section before the start. Once running, the runner adjusted their breathing and pace, and wrote that the goal was achieved by overtaking the 1-hour pacer in the second half.
