The city you want to run becomes your next trip.

THE DREAM
Now in its 13th edition, the race takes place on Sunday, January 3, 2027.
The events are full marathon and half marathon; there is no 10km.
Picture the course in advance
and find the pace that fits you.
Streets lined with cheers, runners all around.
You'll be part of that scene.
Take it slow with the finish still in you,
and meet the city all over again.
From the joy of finishing to the tough moments — read what runners wrote themselves.
“This time, I climbed the hill without fading—the very spot where I'd had to walk last year.”
At the 2019 Challenge sur Route de France Marathon in Cernay-la-Ville, the runner held a steady speed and ran up the final hill they'd walked the previous year. They finished in 3 hours, 14 minutes, especially pleased with staying comfortable all the way rather than focusing on the time.

Cette année, je la passe sans faiblir, alors que j’avais dû marcher l’an dernier ici même.
Read the original on Kikourou“That little encouragement gave me new energy, and I didn't walk again before the finish.”
At the 2018 Challenge sur Route de France Marathon in Cernay-la-Ville, the runner walked the late hills until a companion's encouragement got them running again. They ran the rest of the way without walking, finishing in 3 hours, 26 minutes and placing 34th overall.
Quoted from the original · translated
Ce simple geste me redonne de l’énergie, je ne marcherai plus jusqu’à la fin.

All three races (marathon, half-marathon, 10km) start at the Stade de Cernay-la-Ville, rue de Limours. The 2027 event will be the 13th edition and will take place in Cernay-la-ville in the Yvelines department,
within the Parc Naturel Régional de la Vallée de Chevreuse near Paris.
It is considered one of the first road races of the New Year each year.
A notable change for this edition is that only the marathon and half marathon will be offered, with no 10K event.
Registration is handled through online platforms such as onsinscrit.com and is expected to open around August 2026.
Based on the previous edition, Entry fee cost approximately €55 for the marathon, €64 for the marathon relay and €28 for the half marathon, excluding fees —
however, the event categories have changed this year, so the latest prices should be confirmed on the official website.
The course is reported to take place entirely on roads, including the half marathon section and the marathon's first lap.
Times are local to Cernay-la-Ville. Check the latest official information before the race.
