La Parisienne is a women-only running festival in Paris.
It began in 1997 in the Bois de Boulogne with 1,500 runners and has been held on the second Sunday of September for nearly 30 years.
The race moved onto Paris's city streets in 2002, and its record turnout came in 2014, with 39,000 participants.
The 2026 edition, the 29th, ran over three days, September 11–13, with about 20,000 participants.
Friday and Saturday bring free exhibits, yoga, fitness classes, and other side events.
Since 2015, the start has been on the Pont d'Iéna, at the foot of the Eiffel Tower.
As of 2026, the events were a 10K run, a 7K run, and a 7K walk.
Alongside the long-running 6K course, the 10K,
added in 2022, passes Place de la Concorde and runs out to the Louvre and back, while the 7K follows the banks of the Seine.
Each course passes along quai Jacques-Chirac and finishes beneath the Eiffel Tower.
The Champs-Élysées, the Grand Palais, and the Petit Palais line the course, which is why the race is known for postcard views.
In 2026, the 10K started at 9 a.m., the 7K run at 10 a.m., and the walk just before 11 a.m.;
after a group warm-up, runners set off in several waves.
Your 10K start corral is based on the option you choose when you register.
About 30 bands—1,000 musicians—play every 250 meters, and there's an aid station at two points on the course.
Each Entry fee includes a €2 donation to Sport dans la Ville, a youth sports organization.

So on race morning, you can just run.
🔴 Individual participants can receive bib only on Friday and Saturday; distribution is not available on race day (Sunday).

Champ-de-Mars lawn, Paris 7th arrondissement
Buy a reloadable Navigo Easy card (€2) at any metro/RER ticket window or tabac and load it with t+ tickets or a Paris Visite pass — as of 2026 you generally can't just tap a foreign bank card at metro gates, though open contactless payment is being rolled out gradually across buses.
Pont d'Iéna (foot of the Eiffel Tower), Paris 7e — Metro Bir-Hakeim (line 6) or Trocadéro (lines 6/9), and RER C 'Champ de Mars–Tour Eiffel' station all nearby
Race village is on the Champ-de-Mars lawn;
start is on Pont d'Iéna.
Extremely well served by central Paris metro/RER.
Confirmed 2026 date: Sunday 13 September 2026, matching the listed date exactly.
Place Jacques Rueff (Champ-de-Mars side), Paris 7e
Same transit access as start — Bir-Hakeim/Trocadéro metro and RER C Champ de Mars station within a few minutes' walk.
None needed given dense central-Paris transit.
Navigo Easy
RATP/Ile-de-France Mobilites ticket counters and vending machines at metro and RER stations, and RATP partner shops (tabacs, newsstands, some corner stores)
Not accepted at the gates — get the local card above
Alternative: Paris Visite pass €30.60 for 1 day, €45.40 for 2 days, €63.80 for 3 days, €78 for 5 days (zones 1-5, includes both airports) —
Only worth it if you need unlimited travel across all zones (e.g. both airports, Versailles, Disneyland) in a short trip;
for typical inner-city sightseeing, loading individual t+ tickets or a cheaper multi-day pass onto Navigo Easy usually costs less.
Direct 'tap and go' with a contactless bank card is not available network-wide on the Paris metro.
Buses are already partially equipped, with full Paris and inner-suburb bus coverage targeted by the end of August 2026.
The published rollout schedule is: Orly-Line 14 airport link 30 June 2026, Montmartre funicular July 2026, Metro Line 1 July 2027, Lines 4/14/15/18 end of 2027, Lines 7/12 end of 2028, and the full network by 2030.
Journeys paid by bank card cost more than standard fares (a 50-80 cent surcharge) and do not include free transfers -- each validation is charged separately.
A Navigo Easy card can't be shared between travelers -- one per person.
You can also skip the physical card entirely and buy/store tickets in the Ile-de-France Mobilites or Bonjour RATP phone app.
Paris metro and RER use the Navigo Easy card (EUR 2, reloadable) or the Navigo Liberte+ pass via smartphone;
paper tickets are being phased out through 2026.
Direct contactless bank card tap-to-pay is only live at a couple of pilot points as of mid-2026, with full network rollout planned through 2030, so buy a Navigo Easy card at any station for race-day travel.
A single metro ride costs about EUR 2.50.
Your start time, fuel and bag drop.
Know them ahead and the run feels easier.
The bib is not issued on race day. Visit the race village on Friday or Saturday.
Pick it up at the race village at Stade Émile Anthoine, 2 avenue de Suffren, in the 7th arrondissement.
