RACE WEEK
Know the course and time limit, and race day comes into focus.
We have not confirmed the start line coordinates yet. The map shows the host city.
The Lycian Way is a 509km long-distance trail running from Fethiye to Antalya.
LYUM’s course takes place along this route.
The 57K starts from Karaöz at 6:00 a.m. and finishes in Tekirova, with an officially measured distance of 56.8km and a time limit of 16 hours.
The highest point is the Musa checkpoint at 663m above sea level, while lower sections descend to sea level.
The 37K crosses Mount Musa, passes Olympos Beach and also finishes in Tekirova.
The terrain varies throughout: mountain paths combining sand and rock, unpaved forestry roads,
slippery dirt trails through coniferous forest, and steep climbs and descents.
Terrain and elevation change, rather than distance alone, are the course that determine pace, with Lycian ruins and Mediterranean views along the route.
The race takes place in September.

Pick up your bib, check your wave.
So on race morning, you can just run.
Your start time, fuel and bag drop.
Know them ahead and the run feels easier.
The 57K starts at 6:00 a.m. and has a 22:00 cutoff.
Over 16 hours, runners experience both the Mediterranean midday sun and nighttime sections,
so prepare a headlamp and spare batteries according to your target finish time.
With repeated climbs to 663m and descents to sea level, a layering system that allows easy temperature regulation is advantageous.
The surface continually changes between rock, sand and slippery forest trails.
Trail shoes with good grip are recommended, along with advance preparation for ankle stability and downhill strength.
Since each event has a different start and finish, stay near the finish in Tekirova and confirm early transport to the 57K start at Karaöz.
As the next edition’s date has not yet been announced, book flights after checking the official announcement.
Times are local to Antalya. Check the latest official information before the race.
