It is a Japan Association of Athletics Federations-certified course.
Events are half marathon (21.0975 km) and a 5-mile race (approximately 8 km).
The half marathon is a loop course around Lake Teganuma, while the 5-mile race covers half of the lake course.
The half marathon also includes a team competition in which mixed-gender teams of 3 to 6 runners compete based on the average chip time of their top three runners.
The organizers describe the course as an easy-to-run course that is flat overall and offers views of Lake Teganuma.
For cut-off point, the 9.4 km mark closes at 11:20 AM, the 17.4 km mark closes at 12:30 PM, and the finish time limit is 1:15 PM.
There is no cut-off point in the 5-mile race.

Anyone finishing after the 1:15 PM time limit must remove their race bib and stop racing.
Delaying after passing the second cut-off point is particularly prohibited.
Eligibility is half marathon: runners aged 18 or over who can finish within 2 hours 30 minutes;
for the 5-mile race, participants must be high-school age or older and able to finish within 1 hour.
